   Legends for Youth Clinic

Legends for Youth - Dallas
This is a national event branded by the MLB Players Alumni Association and hosted by the local alumni members. Jason Bottenfield is the acting member of the local chapter that has coordinated this event since inception (5 years ago).

What is the Legends for Youth clinic?
A four hour free baseball clinic for children ages 7-13 years old. We have former professional baseball players that work 8 stations ranging from infield to hitting. This is the only event in North Texas that combines so many former professional baseball players into one area to teach children their talents. The players are positioned around each station to work in a group setting and individually with each child in attendance. Each child also has a chance to get autographs from every former player in attendance at the end of the event. The sponsors provide every child a poster unique to the event for such autographs so the children have a one of a kind takeaway from the day. The players will also provide a 15 minute life lesson at the end of the event to discuss the importance of excelling in school to the children.
